I got an email from 'dnsireland.org' - Is it a scam? (The answer is 'Yes')

We have received reports from a number of customers saying they have received an email from a 'DNS Ireland' (dnsireland.org) offering to register a domain name for them. The email will offer a 'special rate' for 10 years registration. This email has nothing to do with LetsHost - it is a scam email and should be ignored.

To block out scam emails like this, you can sign up for our Anti-Spam Mail Filtering service, which will stop spam and viruses while also protecting against malware. This is priced at €8.95+VAT per domain per month. For further information on this service please visit our website.

As we are getting a large number of customer asking us about this, we have started to ask them to report this scam to the hosting provider - https://supportcenter.godaddy.com/AbuseReport This will help prevent this scam email being sent to others, tricking them into signing up.

If you require further information/assistance on this, please submit a ticket and a member of the team will be happy to assist further.
