How to personalise your Roundcube settings

If you are using Roundcube to send emails, there are various settings you can personalise such as the display name(The name shown when you send an email) or if you want to automatically BCC another address.

This tutorial assumes you have logged into Roundcube. If you need further assistance in how to login to Roundcube, please see the following for more information: How to login to Webmail

  • On the navigation bar on the left hand side, click on ‘Settings’ cog icon.
  • In the settings panel, click Identities.
  • Select the email address
Or click Create to add a second identity that can have unique settings, for example separate display names for office and home use.
  • Here you can edit your identity details and the signature. Please see following for more information on signatures: How to add a signature in Roundcube webmail
  • Once you are finish making changes, click Save on the bottom of the page.

Please note, if you use an external email client to send emails(Such as Outlook/iPhone Mail/Gmail) the identity details above will not be used.
Instead each email client has its own settings and has to be edited separately.
