To set up an email account in the email client Outlook 2016, please see the following steps.
If you do not know your current email password, please visit this link for instructions on how to reset it.
First, you will need to open the settings screen. Click: File > Add Account.
You should then get a pop up where you can enter in your email address > click Advanced options > click Let me set up my account manually.
Click the Connect button.
Choose IMAP from the Advanced setup options.
IMAP Account Settings:
- Incoming mail server = Servers hostname (in the form ‘LHxx.dnsireland.com’)
Encryption method = SSL/TLS
Port = 993 - Outgoing mail server (SMTP) = Servers hostname (in the form ‘LHxx.dnsireland.com’)
Encryption method = SSL/TLS
Port = 465
Click Next.
Enter your email password and click Connect.
You can then set up another email account or just untick the options and click Done to finish the set up.
