Horde webmail removal from cPanel

If you are a Webmail user, you may be familiar with the Horde option when you check your emails via cPanel. While this has been a stable and popular Webmail choice for many users for a number of years, it is now no longer available in cPanel as of cPanel & WHM version 108.

Horde relies on PHP 7.4, which reaches End of Life on November 28, 2022. Because of this, cPanel will remove Horde.

Thankfully, cPanel continues to offer Roundcube. This provides the same functionality as Horde. Using Roundcube will import all your existing data, so you will not lose any mail by changing.

To get you started please have a look at the following to get you going in Roundcube:

How to personalise your Roundcube settings

How to add a signature in Roundcube webmail

How to use calendars in Roundcube webmail

How to add email contacts in Roundcube

If you require further information/assistance on this, please submit a ticket and a member of the team will be happy to assist further.
