How do I reset the root password for my VPS?

To reset the root password for your VPS, please see the following steps:

  1. Login to your Client Area
  2. Click on Services > My Services
  3. Click on the Active button to the right of your VPS package
  4. Click the Stop VPS to send a shutdown signal to your VPS
  5. Once offline, click Power Off
  6. Then click the Change Password button to change your reboot password
  7. Once done click Start VPS to boot your VPS. The server will come back online with the new password set
