How do I change the cPanel account passwords on my Reseller hosting?

To change the cPanel password for an account set up under your reseller account, please see the following steps.
Please note that changing the password for the main domain (the domain associated with the reseller hosting) will also change the WHM password.

First, you will need to log in to your LetsHost Client Area and navigate to your WHM (Web Host Manager).

  1. Once logged in to your client area, click on Services > My Services to list your reseller package.
  2. Click on the green Active sign to the right of the reseller package and click "Login to WHM" under the Actions menu on the left. This will open a new tab with your WHM
  3. Using the search box in the top right navigate to "Password Modification"
  4. Choose the account from the list that you are looking to update
  5. At the bottom of the page, enter/generate a new password for the account and click the blue change password button
  6. Note: you can leave Enable Digest Authentication unticked

If you have any questions on the above, please do not hesitate to 'Open a Ticket' and we will be happy to advise further.
