How to view email headers in Thunderbird

 

Sometimes when you are experiencing an issue with email, accessing the email headers will provide some helpful to find the root cause of the issue. If you have a ticket open with the Support Dept. on the email, you might be asked to provide email headers. Depending on how you normally access your emails, the steps to view the email headers will be different for each email client/interface.

  1. First, you will need to open the email by double clicking on it

  2. Click on > More and click > View Source

  3. You can copy/paste this information into the Support ticket you have open
