How do I export my database from cPanel

If you wish to export your database from your cPanel hosting account (for the purposes of backups or to import into another hosting account/database), please see the following instructions:

  1. Log in to your cPanel interface
  2. Under the ‘Databases’ section, click ‘phpMyAdmin’
  3. On the left, click the database from which you’d like to export the tables
  4. At the top, click ‘Export’
  5. If you wish to export the entire database, select the ‘quick’ option
  6. If you wish to export only certain tables, select the ‘custom’ option
  7. Set the format to ‘SQL’ and click ‘Go’
  8. The SQL file containing your databases tables will then download to your computer

If you have any questions on the above, please do not hesitate to 'Open a Ticket' and we will be happy to advise further.
