GDPR - The right to data portability

Under article 20 of the GDPR all data subjects have the right to data portability.

“The data subject shall have the right to receive the personal data concerning him or her, which he or she has provided to a controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided…”

This means it is easier to move your personal data from one provider to another in an easy to use format.

To obtain a backup of your personal data, please email gdpr@letshost.ie and we will create an export for you in JSON format.

If you have any questions on the above, please do not hesitate to 'Open a Ticket' and we will be happy to advise further.
