I cannot FTP to my account – am I blocked?

LetsHost operate multiple layers of account security for all users. If you entered a password incorrectly several times while connecting with FTP or if one of the files being uploaded contains potentially malicious content (virus etc), our systems will block your computer from the hosting server.

This is strictly to prevent your account and the hosting servers from being subjected to any sort of illegal activity such as hacking.

Being blocked on our firewalls will give the appearance that our systems are down when in fact we are blocking your connection for the above reason.

To unblock your computer’s IP address, see this link.

If you have any questions on the above, please do not hesitate to 'Open a Ticket' and we will be happy to advise further.
