cPanel also allows you to restart services on your VPS through WHM instead of the command line.
- First, you will need to log in to your WHM. The login address for the WHM is https://IPADDRESS:2087 (replacing IPADDRESS with the actual IP address of your server). If you do not know your IP address, continue following these steps
- Log in to your client area
- Click on Services > My Services
- Click the green Active button on your VPS server
- On the next screen, you will see the IP address of your server. From here, you will also be able to reset the root password if needed
- Log in to your WHM as per the first step above
- Once logged in, go to Restart Services
- Select the service you wish to restart (e.g. “SQL Server (MySQL)” or “HTTP Server (Apache)”) and click Yes to restart
